The Emerging Professional Undergraduate Degree Award

 

The Emerging Professional-Undergraduate Degree Award recognizes Penn State graduates of the past ten years who have demonstrated professional excellence and /or exemplary voluntary community involvement in the health and human development professions.  Matt graduated in August, 2006 from the College of Health & Human Development.

 

2013 “Supporters of the Village” Award

The Alpha Alpha Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated honors individuals, families or organizations who have demonstrated a willingness to go above and beyond in helping others succeed.  Those selected have made a difference in the lives of others to help raise and maintain the village.

 

Pittsburgh’s 50 Finest 2013

Matt Arch is joining an elite group of eligible men and women that are honored each year for their success and involvement in the Pittsburgh community.  Cystic Fibrosis is a genetic disease that affects approximately 30,000 young people in the United States, taking lives of many of those afflicted before the age of 37.  The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is consistently ranked by the Wall Street Journal’s Smart Money magazine as one of the nation’s “Best in the Business” for its exceptionally efficient use of fund-raising dollars.

 

2013 Get Involved!, Inc. Western PA Rising Star Award

The Western PA Rising Star awards are presented annually to 21 local young professionals (ages 21-30) in the non-profit, business, and governmental sectors who dedicate their and talent to community organizations and who are making a positive difference in the region.

Public Allies Pittsburgh recognized Matt Arch as the RISE ChangeMaker of 2012 for his service to the south western PA region. The award was selected based on his display of the five core values of Public Allies: integrity; continuous learning; collaboration; diversity and inclusion; and focus on assets.

  2. Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass’ favor.
